Club membership pays in all kind of ways!

The
clubs motto of "membership has its privileges" is somewhat
of an understatement. Discounted meals, free check
cashing, scholarship programs, Football Frenzy, 10% off of
private catering functions and the Military Free Cash
Rewards program through Chase Bank are but a few of the
world class programs your membership warrants.
While
those benefits are incredible, we've realized that we can
do even more for our club members at Mountain Home. Why
you might ask? It's very simple; our club operates with
the dues that our members provide. Without dues paying
members, we wouldn't be able to operate the club and that
would be a tragedy for the entire community. Can you
imagine Mountain Home without a place for farewell
celebrations, holiday parties, commanders calls, award
ceremonies, dining outs, or just socializing after work.
In
past years, all the benefits of being a club member were
centered on your use of the club facility. Enjoying a
membership night, using a discount coupon, or having lunch
at a reduce price were all major benefits of being a
member. Well, those are still great benefits of being a
member, but we've realized customers habits have changed
over the years for many reasons and we are taking steps to
change with them.
Today,
our customers are busier than ever and don't necessarily
have the time to enjoy the benefits inside the club; that
begs the question why have a club card then? The answer
to that question is an easy answer; the Gunfighters club
plays a vital role in the quality-of-life for our
community. It serves as the center of our military social
fabric; a gathering place for our Airmen to learn and
demonstrate core Air Force values and socialize with one
another. Simply stated, our club embodies the essence of
military tradition and our proud Gunfighter heritage.
So
what is new? As a Mountain Home Gunfighters club member,
we've added an array of tangible benefits that cover a
broad range of Services activities - all at discounted
prices or in some cases totally free - IF YOU ARE A CLUB
MEMBER! Each month, Services features a different
activity that you can enjoy at little to no cost. Just
show your club card at the facility and your new benefits
kick right in. Not only do you enjoy the savings, but
your immediate family members also get the benefits.
Regardless of your dues category, Services is now
literally paying you to become a member of our club. Here
is a great example. In the month of January,
club members can go to Outdoor Recreation Supply and rent
a snow board or ski package once during the month at NO
COST. Just show your club card and you are off to the
slopes with a lot more money for lift tickets and snacks.
Rental packages are worth $25.00 otherwise and remember,
if you outfit your entire family, you can realize the
savings of $25.00 more for each person. To translate that
into even simpler terms, a SSgt with 3 family members
would pay $4 in dues to support the club in January and be
out the door with a $100.00 weekend of fun at no cost!
How can you beat that?
The
new benefits don't stop there. Free golf, bowling,
swimming and a host of other fun offerings are all part of
the plan.
So
it's simple, by joining our Gunfighters Club, you are
doing your part to ensure that our club is always there
when we need it. At the same time, you get an immediate
return on your investment through the enjoyment of all of
the new benefits we are offering only at Mountain Home Air
Force Base.
To
start your membership, simply stop by the club and ask any
of our employees how to join, or if you like, just head
out to one of the cool events listed above and sign up at
that facility (and get the benefit of that offering right
on the spot).
