Step up your workout at the
Fitness & Sports Center! Our cardio theater is lined with 58 cardio
machines, each equipped with a 15-inch television monitor and a
DVD/CD/cable connection. Headphones are required for sound. The Fitness
Center does not have headphones available for use.
Our Resistance Training Room has three complete circuits for a total
body workout. The Weight Training Room houses our free weights, and is
considered the "backbone" of the fitness center.
We offer a Large Exercise Room for group aerobic workouts and
specialized training sessions. The room is also available for squadrons
to use for physical training.
Our Small Group Exercise Room has 34 spinning bikes and two large screen
televisions used to play course videos while classes are in session.
The Parent/Child Supervised Area is now located across the hall from the
Cardio Room. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their
children when using this area. The area is equipped
with total body and
cardio machines. The area also has a television with DVD/CD/Cable
connections for children and parents to watch.
The facility offers four racquetball courts
and two basketball courts. Equipment may be checked out at the front
desk.
A variety of classes are offered monthly, including step aerobics,
spinning, circuit training and a variety of martial arts. Class
schedules are available at the front desk.
Each locker room has a family
changing area, private showers and a sauna.
Outdoor recreational facilities include basketball courts located near
the dormitories, two softball fields, an asphalt running track, a
football and soccer field, a multi-purpose field and four tennis courts.
The Fitness Center provides boil and bite mouth guards
(free of charge) for contact sports. The dental clinic (ext 7300) can
fabricate custom made mouth guards for active duty members. Please
utilize mouth guards for your safety!
